The Gist: The City is offering 450 scholarships worth $100 each to help local artists sharpen their creative skills. Creators in any discipline living within city limits can use the funds for approved workshops, classes, or professional courses. Applications are open on a first-come, first-served basis through September 21 or until spots fill up.
